A Lecture From Strangers
A few countries, along with the Plastic Fool, have taken it upon themselves to lecture the individual about his own home country.
They say corruption runs deep, that lawmen believe they are above the law, that human rights are not even recognized there.
They describe his country to him as if he were the stranger and they were the locals — as if he might be blind, as if he does not know what he is doing.
He Knows — and He Chose to Stay
The truth is that the individual knows all of it, and more. But he chose to stay and face the challenges instead of running away.
When he left the country the first time, he did it because he lacked the resources and means to fix things and build. But now, once he receives his legal compensation, he will be able to make a difference — even if it is a small one.
And even if the individual one day decided to leave — which is highly unlikely — he would not do so before giving everything he can give to make the lives of his country’s people better.
The Real Motive
So relax, lads. Stop assuming you know what the individual does not — and stop acting as if you care about him.
Because you care about nothing but having the individual for yourselves.
